Access Hollywood

I was watching Access Hollywood the other day, and it amazed me how much editing must be done during that show. There are the obvious cuts in order to move from story to story. But what I found unbelievable was the fact that in a 5 second segment of an interview with a celebrity, there were at least 3 cuts. It must be hard for a celebrity, or anyone on television, to get in a full thought without getting cut off by the editors. It makes me wonder if what we hear in our homes is what is actually being said.
