Good news!!! I finished my first novel. It's called The Manuscript and it's 239 pages long. Maybe you'll see it on the shelves in Borders some day :)
Just thought I'd let everyone know that I FINALLY finished something that I started and I've never felt better about it. I started it last semester in one of my classes and finished it in another class for this semester. I've had the idea for the book for a lot longer than that, and school was my excuse to actually write it.
I'm one of those people who needs a kick in the butt to get something started and finished (for my own projects), and thank GOD I finished it. Now I can go to sleep at night without constantly thinking about where my characters will go in the next chapter. Such a load off :)
